About Michael Cox

An experienced senior executive with a bachelor of arts in business administration from Saint Leo University and a master of arts in strategic leadership from Michigan State University, Michael Cox has served as president of Mesa Line Services since February 2020. Before assuming his leadership position with the Houston, Texas-based heavy electrical contractor, Michael Cox served two years as president and chief operating officer of the industrial construction maintenance company Austin Industrial. He has also held responsibilities as vice president of major divisions within Austin Industrial as well as Graycor Construction and Brand Energy Solutions.

From 1994 to 2007, Michael Cox was a diver in the United States Navy. While a part of the Underwater Construction Teams, he was in charge of an operating budget of $30 million and a portfolio of equipment and assets that exceeded $100 million in total value. Mr. Cox’s military accomplishments include instituting construction procedures to cut costs by $60 million and earning a Sailor of the Year designation for optimizing an official hyperbaric certification manual.
